I think my experience at Baruch so far has been better than I excepted. I didn’t realize that socializing with other people from different countries or different  schools was so casual and easy. Academics was also very casual for me, I realized that homework and studying is something I have to allocate time for and make sure I finish before the deadline rather than have the professor constantly remind me about homework. Something I learned that surprised me was that college is heavily focused on reading, both your notes and the textbook. This meme represents my image of college before and during the beginning of my valuable experience. Through this valuable experience, I learned how to excel academically in college.
