Freshman Seminar Fall 17 DTC

At the American Museum of Natural History

On September 9th 2017, I went on a journey into the American Museum of Natural History. In my life, I have visited this place many times, but still every time that I come here I am astonished by the size and the number of people. Surprisingly when I got there, an individual came up to me and said “ here, I have an extra ticket” and I accepted the ticket. The exhibit that I chose was the Dinosaur exhibit. The reason I chose this exhibit was because I watched the Jurassic Park movies and afterwards I was interested to know more about the species. After I arrived at the exhibit, I was welcomed by the species, well, what’s left of them to be exact. I discovered dinosaur nests, bones, beaks, eggs, feathers, etc. There were many types of dinosaurs including the Stegosaurus Stenops, Triceratops Horridus, Apatosaurus Excelsus, etc. At my time at the museum, I’ve also noticed the rich diversity there. If you haven’t been to the museum yet, I recommend that you do because it’s not as boring as people say it is.
