Visiting the MoMa

Going to the Moma more formally known as the museum of modern art. The first time I went there I was hesitant to like it. I am a fan of history but after going and looking at a few paintings I really enjoyed the art. Every picture has Its own understanding and to truly understand what these pictures mean you have to stand in front of them for a few minutes to capture the idea of the artist. This really interested me and as I kept walking around the museum I was even more inspired. This museum did have lots of history incorporated inside of it, you just had to understand the time period the painting or art was created and by who. After you know more it is interesting to walk around and read up what was written next to every art form. The museum was different then most museums that I have been to, this museum had a very elegant dining area and it was a vertical museum just like Baruch’s campus. The museum was overall good and better then what I had expected. I am always out to try new things and this museum was a good experience. As side from the art there was lots of newer more modern exhibits and those where fun and interactive. I spent a few hours in a place full of mystery and lots of exploring to do and had a blast. I would definitely say that this museum inspires me to be an artist and to one day have people reading about me and writing about me and the great things I have yet to accomplish. I would also recommend this museum to anybody who has not been there. It is a wonderful place to go visit and learn about art and its history.
