As an 18 year old that has just entered college, the last thing I have is a network of people that can supply me with opportunities that I would like. Well that, and a million dollars. With little family connection to the financial world, I would have to break in to finance on my own, so I thought.
When I attended Baruch’s Internship Seminar, I was given so much information I never knew before. I never knew that internships offered actual college credit! The fact that I could work for a firm, gain real world experience, and on top of that advance my academic career all at once just sounds so bizarre! Michael Kalish, the host of the seminar, made sure that anyone that was looking for an internship could find one that would best fit them. Kalish drew great emphasis over the many resources Baruch offers so that we are as every bit prepared when it came to applying. This workshop not only inspired me to work as hard as I could so I could get that dream internship, but as well to explore more of all of Baruch.
