Although I have been to the American Museum of Natural History a couple of times, I have not had the opportunity to return within the last few years. I have decided to tag along with one of my friend since he had an assignment due that requires the visit. It was definitely a refreshing and eye-opening experience. The museum had not change THAT much but there are certainly new features and aspects that stood out to me such as the touch and feel section of skulls and new exhibits. I remember the Seaworld and Dinosaurs section being my favorite and revisiting, brought back memories of my childhood. I love how the whale is displayed right on top of a comfortable resting area and dim lights add such a holistic effect. After roaming around for a couple of hours trying to answer some of his assignment questions, we went to my dad’s workplace and had lunch there. It was an enjoyable day of catching up and bringing back old memories.
