The museum gave me an opportunity to complete an extra credit assignment for my History class. The vast amount of history inside the museum was astonishing. It’s interesting to thing that a single picture or statue completely embodies another time period. The museum served as a learning experience as well because the panels displayed along with the art were very informative. I am grateful for the opportunity to explore such an amazing place. One of the things I found was a piece of propaganda. It’s interesting to see the parallel of what propaganda was back then and how advertising, basically our generations “propaganda”, is now. It’s so positive to have a place to enrich in American and world history in the heart of the city, for people who visit to delve into. I enjoyed myself more than I expected and could really stare at those pictures all day. Each one had its own swag. I won’t take for granted all of the attractions our city has to offer for learning.
