Last Thursday, I went to Hacking for Baruch first workshop. In beginning of the workshop, they were doing introductions and informing us about the upcoming events, like the Hack Human hack-a-thon. Later on, they taught us the basics of coding and the different types of programming languages that make up a website. Creating a website consists of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. They taught us the difference between each one and what they are mainly used for. During this workshop, they mainly focused on Javascript. They showed us how to create a HTML webpage and how to manipulate it using Javascript. The workshop was very informative and hands on. It was fun and I can’t wait for the next workshop.
