Student Life (The Ticker)

When I first came into Baruch College I knew that I had to focus on my schoolwork and grind for every grade. This really took a toll on me socially. I would leave school at 9pm because I was in the library studying or researching and I wouldn’t have time to hang out with friends. This devastated me because I was not having fun in college. Then, I realized that I shouldn’t be too serious and relax a little. So, I joined The Ticker. My brother, who is a senior at Baruch College, was already in The Ticker, so meeting new people in the club was not a struggle. It’s good to be serious, but it’s fun to be around energetic and loud people.
