Hey guys,
Today, September 15,2017, I attended the college career fair. It was definitely a great experience because this was the first in school career fair I ever went to. I have only been to one outside of school which was also a great experience.
I did not go in with any expectations of getting an internship. This was made clear when my older brother told me that freshmen do not get as much opportunity as upper classmen do. This was a bummer, but I still went for the experience. Seeing everyone so dedicated on being recruited, I could feel the working environment Baruch offers. Hopefully, this will continue throughout my next four years so I can be driven and motivated to work that much harder.
I talked with recruiters from Barnes & Nobles, Yelp, Target, H Mart and Enterprise. After talking to them, I really want to get an internship in a corporation so I can get some inspiration to make my own one day.
I hope to attend more of these types of workshops and events throughout my time in Baruch. You guys should check out these awesome events too.
