Me and my friend Aziza decided to attend the Latinx Heritage Month event that was held last Thursday September 7th. During the event, we met many Baruch students thats not just from latino descent, but also from around the world. Many students like me decided to attend because this gave me a good opportunity to learn more about the Latino culture the school had to offer and in addition meet new people and friends. In the event, there were many types of performances, food, music, etc to make the event and campus alive. Later on in a few weeks, there will be more events related to the Latinx Heritage Month such as latnix meet and greet and let’s eat. I hope I will have the chance to attend these two events so that I can enjoy and learn even more about the culture.
