This arrangement of photos is meant to represent me, in what I like and what I do. I happened to have taken these pictures myself, though one is a screenshot, it still counts. I wasn’t sure how to make a slideshow, so in order from left to right:
The first image is one of my friend and I – we’ve been friends for more than 6 years, and she’s been a big part of my life since we met. We’re on a ferry home from her beach house, which we spent most of every summer at since we’ve known each other, and I consider that a big enough part of my life to represent me as a person.
The next image is the cover of my favorite book; it’s a compilation of short stories by J.D. Salinger. Each story is drastically different, but each, in their way, has an aspect that I identify with. I always found it difficult to find a favorite book, because one book never had enough elements for me to choose which one I liked best. This book is many elements piled into a great collection of stories.
The next image is one of a game of Scrabble I played with my family. I chose this mostly because I’m good at spelling (this is because I read a lot maybe?).
The following image is of a clothing line, which I chose because I took it in the showroom I have an internship at. This internship means a lot to me because it’s given me independence in many ways and given me a small step up towards a career.
The next image is of a pie, which my (93 year old) grandmother and I made together.
The next image I took on a ski lift, since skiing has been a part of my life from when I was very young.
The next is of my house in Vermont, which my father designed 15 years ago.
The last image is one I took from the very end of Manhattan, where I was born and spent my entire life. New York is something I identify most with, because I’ve made my life here and the city means a lot to me.
These pictures don’t sum up all of my life, but enough to get an idea!
