final post

We just have few times left this semester.

Actually, I felt amazing when I got the letter from baruch because I thought it never gonna happened. I applied QC also at that time, but QC didn’t give me the answer, then I was like ” if I failed QC application, baruch just like game over.” I know that baruch is harder than QC, so if I failed the easier one, the harder one would never think about me- this was what I thought. So I was exciting for being baruch student.

First few days being at baruch, everything was new for me like new friends and classes. I got some friends, and most of them are from Fro, unfortunately, i couldn’t remember all of them. I was surprised about the crowd because the elevator was crowd all the time, and i had to wait the next one or the next next one. The most mentionable one is the library. I love the library especially about the laptop service. i could borrow the laptop from library; therefore, I could finish my paper assignment at school without my own laptop. it’s heavy to bring to school. so I really love it.

For classes, while everyone said that SOC professor was terrible, I thought she was good expect the accent and the unreadable writing directly affected my understanding. And I really don’t like write paper, I prefer exam than paper because it took me hours to finish it, and my poor grammar. so I always stay whole night to write a paper, then really tired at the next day, also my dark circles…I don’t think it will disappear. However, sad to say is that being baruch student means a lots of paper assignment. Like other students, I felt stress, too. It’s from classes, professors, some baruch policies, international student requirement; anyway, I felt hard for being a baruch student.
