Keli’s Final Blogpost

Hey guys,

I can’t actually believe that this is our final blogpost. As time passes quickly without even notice, when I turn back my head, I see three months, three amazing month, which I don’t regret at all. When I first got here in New York at December 28, I was amazed and scared of this big city. I came here to find myself, to let go the past and to make new memories because my past ones were not so great. Every single person in our class gave me something, a little piece of them while reading their monologues as I was sitting there and understanding that I can never ever ever judge the book by the cover. I learned a lot about my classmates and my peer mentors and we all have to admit that they are a pure example of how good you can be here at Baruch if you just push yourself a little bit harder to study and to work for what you really like. I thank Baruch College for giving me the opportunity to study here and to follow my dreams, I thank my friends who have been there for me every single time giving me some really good – first memories, I thank my peer mentors who helped me and sent me a lot of msgs to find a home for me or a room mate for me when I needed it back in those days (lol) and also I thank myself for taking the chance and the risk to come here and have all this !! I know that maybe we are going on separate ways this semester but please feel free to say hi if you see me passing by because I will do the same with you 🙂
