Internship fair

The fair was a great event that helped me and  a multiple of other students get information pertaining to both jobs and internship opportunities. From the moment I pass the gym doors to enter to the fair, I could tell it was a big hit. There were some many students dressed professionally that I thought I was in a business convention. Since I was interested in internship opportunities, I went to CUNY internship booth and inquired. The staff told me what most booths told me apply online. So I keeped the flier (pictured) in order to apply later. Though, I didn’t anticipate it , I walked away learning tips on how to improve my school experience and have a higher rate of getting a job in my field. One person while I was waiting in line told me that I needed a high GPA. This and other tips and information pertaining jobs is what I walked away with along with connections that will influence me in the future.

Having an experience is a really good way to understand whether I enjoy doing that job or no, and whether it fits my character and knowledge as well . That’s why I believe that internships are very helpful. I found your feedback really helpful I will soon participate in an internship fair, to have a better experience career vise and to create the path of my future.
