Hi everyone! I am Andres. I was raised and lived most of my life in Ecuador (South America), my family still lives there but they come every couple months to visit me and see how I am doing, mostly because I live by myself.
So I finished high school in a German school back in Ecuador and until recently I did not know what I wanted to do with my life at all. Right after I had finished school, a group of friends and me decided that before we went to college we needed to be sure of what we wanted to do, so we took a sabbatical year in Europe, with our main headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany (this is the city where most of my friends study at the moment).
Being able to travel with my friends for over a year was truly the best experience Ive had. We meet many new people from every corner of the world, visited many cities, learned new languages, partied and experienced so much that by the end I felt that not only had my knowledge been broadened but that I was a different person in a way. I finally had a path to follow in life as well.
During this time I decided that I wanted to study International Business. Even though I love Europe I am sure that the best city in the world to pursue this career is New York, so I am really grateful to be here at Baruch now. I am really looking forward to have a great year and to get to know you guys!
