The Orientation/Information Session on the 15th of February on CUNY-IBM Watson Case Competition 2018 went extremely well with over 130 students attending, from multiple CUNY campuses.

Dr. Stan Altman, the director of the CUNY-IBM Watson Case Competition speaking to the participating students during the Orientation.

During the event, Patrick and Helen Lam from IBM Corporation gave a presentation on Watson AI and Cloud Services. Likewise, Youssef Kalad and Jeremy Goldberg from NYC Mayor’s Office of the Chief Technology Officer gave a presentation on proposed Census 2020 project. The representatives from IBM and the City were so energized by the queries raised by the highly motivated participating students.
