This article is about a report on the analysis of changes in food consumption from 1970 to 2010 by the nutritionist Bonnie Liebman. Although Americans have reduce the heart-damaging trans fat, the consumption of total fat has been increased dramatically. On average, today, one American consumes 20 pounds more fat than an American would consume in 1970, which led to the rate of obesity doubled.  Not only sugars, grains also responsible for the fats that cause obesity. Americans have been increase the consumption of the fast food like pizzas, burgers, and French fried in which increased the total fat intake. People should eat more veges and fruits.
