If there is one thing I like about Star Wars is that I like everything about Star Wars. Naturally when I saw Star Wars, One letter at a time, by Brian Kim Stefans, I said, “This is the poem I shall do!” This poem threw me for a loop and a flashing ride. I enjoyed every second of this poem despite how hard it was to focus.
The flash acted like a typewrite while it typed what suppose to be the script for the first the first Star Wars. I assumed this because durning the continuing flow of letters it showed the iconic opening lines “A long time ago in a galaxy far far away.” But after that, I began to lose focus of the letters the words they were and eventually I couldn’t keep up. I lost the train of letters and decided to just watch the flash continues.
I believe the purpose that Stefans had in mind with this is that he allowing us to see the mind of a script writer and how he does his writing. Also, because the flash acts like a typewriter it gave me a somewhat nostalgic feeling despite the fact that I never used a typewriter. But this flash also remind on how I do my own writing, just letting flow freely.
