• When you first read the assignment or realized we would be doing a Research project, what were your expectations? What were you concerned about? Excited about? What did you think it would be like?

I considered myself good at research projects until this point. I found that very specific details should be backed up with credible sourcing and it was fairly difficult to do in its fullest extent. Furthermore, I expected to be given a research topic as opposed to making my own, even though I was given several examples of sample research topics which was interesting. I was excited to learn about my research topic since it was something I’ve wondered about in my senior year of high school. While the overall essay was enjoyable, I was more-so concerned about how I was going to structure it. In the end, I was fairly disappointed in my lack of proper researching skills.
