Being a professional athlete has its pros and cons. Athletes get to play their favorite sport as their occupation and make a good living. But it only last until retirement which comes at an early age, and depends on the sport. Playing sports as a profession completely changes a person’s life. The player has to move to whatever team he/she plays for and gets attention from social media, which always ends up causing problems. But there are also various injuries that can occur during a player’s career that can drastically affect his/her life after retirement. It can also be tuff trying to get another job after retirement so the player has to be smart when it comes to handling their money. So, many kids and teens want to grow up to be a professional athlete for their favorite sport but no one realizes the responsibilities that come with having that kind of occupation.
