The final version of my product is the O-Lock, a city proof bike/scooter lock that features an alarm system consisting of:
A flashing strobe light
A speaker for the alarm
The choice of 4 digit combination code or key locking
An app that notifies you if there was an attempt to disarm your lock
A charging port to eliminate the need for batteries
The lock is meant to solve the very common problem of traditional “secure” locks being clipped in the city and bikes being stolen. The lock notifies you while it is happening, and the alarm and strobe light is meant to scare the thief away or draw attention to them to allow for someone to intervene.
The O-lock provides the user with the peace of mind to leave their bike/scooter behind!
Hey Sunrise! I love your product and the video. I think that the 4 digit password was a great idea and the alarm was a really nice feature. I definitely think this is a better lock than the ones on the market.
