About

The Teaching Blog at Baruch College is a faculty weblog for urban college faculty to share information about the effectiveness of various teaching techniques and practices regardless of the academic discipline. The Teaching Blog was initiated by faculty members of Baruch College, City University of New York (CUNY) and is open to all CUNY faculty and staff interested in contributing to our discussions on teaching in higher education.

Baruch College is located in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of Manhattan in the heart of New York City and delivers excellence in public higher education. Baruch offers undergraduate and graduate programs through our three acclaimed schools: the School of Public Affairs, the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences, and the Zicklin School of Business. The College also offers non-degree and certificate programs through its Division of Continuing and Professional Studies. Baruch College’s 17,000+ students, who speak 110 languages and come from 160 countries, have been repeatedly named the most ethnically diverse student body in the United States by both the U.S. News & World Report and the Princeton Review.
