Summary

I am Tina Zheng and I am a freshman in my first semester at Baruch College. For all my life, writing, reading, or comprehension have never been a strong suit. I would usually run out of ideas to write about as well as ways to format my writing. In my opinion, I am not able to elaborate on my ideas as well as others. I am rarely confident in what I write. Since I am not that confident in my writing or my literature skills in general, I don't usually participate in class in ways like raising my hand to answer a question. I panic and it usually ends in me being extremely pessimistic.

However, I hope to improve my writing as it is an essential skill in any field. Since I'm majoring in Accountancy, I have to be concise with my words and be able to write consistently. I want to be able to be confident in my writing as well as my grammar. As there will be many difficult topics that push me out of my comfort zone in writing, reading, or comprehension, I will try to understand and utilize them to the best of my ability. I hope this class will be as fun as it would be essential.
