Journal 2: Dichotomies in The First Book of Genesis

There are a few dichotomies offered in the New King James Version of the Bible in the first book of Genesis. The three important dichotomies to be considered in the first book of Genesis are in no particular order: 1) morning vs. evening, 2) light vs. darkness, and 3) the heavens vs. the earth. The role of dichotomies in the first book of Genesis offers an explanation of polar opposites that god creates and considers “good.”
