Think back to Journal #4

The use of twitter to discuss and explore the topic of Huck Finn was really fun and interesting. I was never really a tweeter but once i started reading the book I had many ideas that I wished to express with my classmates and the greater twitter community. It was also interesting to go out and find other tweets from the greater universe that connected to Huckleberry Finn and I found a lot of great quotes that really opened up my mind to greater things. I also like reading other people thoughts or agreeing to disagree with others but twitter was a very good way of expressing ideas and frustrations in the book.

About TANYA TANIS

Hello everyone my name is Tanya Tanis but most people call me Tiny. I was born and raised in Brooklyn,NY which influenced my creative side a lot. I began to dance and sing when I started middle school and pursued it through out high school. Then i got into more of a party scene amongst teens which influenced me to go into business as well did getting involved with ING investment challenge. Through all my experiences with working with teens and planning i learned that I loved planning and budgeting and investing money for a return profit which is why I wanted to be a business major. There is Money to be made working with young adults who if you really look barely have any real stable night life or places they can gather. I am very observant person and very outgoing but I can be stern as well and stubborn as well, but also very fun and funny.

  1. I really have to agree with you Tanya. I wasn’t much of tweeter at all, but this project really does show prospect of creating an enjoyable way to learn more about a novel from our peers with a system (like Twitter) that we may enjoy.

I’m still not one for using Twitter, but it is undoubtedly an interesting concept. Hen I browse through my feed, I love reading all the insights my classmates have on Huck Finn that may not have occurred to me without their input.

  3. I also feel as if I was not disappointed by this assignment. It was as exciting as I thought it would be. Also, I did have a fun time thinking of new hash tags like I knew I would since I am such an avid hash tagger.

  4. I absolutely agree with you that Twitter is a great way to express our ideas and discuss our opinions with more people. it’s very interesting and helpful.
