Flock to San Gennaro this September!

Beginning September 15, the 85th San Gennaro Feast will take over Mulberry Street (and adjacent streets) in Little Italy.

If you’ve been keeping up with our blog, you’d know what a big deal this festival is to the citizens of NYC.

Of interest, the festival is doing its best to offer guests new experiences this year.  Foodies will be happy to know that this year, vendors will offer a variety of gourmet foods.  Some of the more exotic options to debut include mini braciole sandwiches and grilled calamari, and the ‘Byggybeef’ (short ribs, cheese, and pickled vegetables on ciabatta bread).  For more details check out New York Magazine’s article, here.

However, many patrons will be happy to know that old favorites will return, such as the renown cannoli eating contest (now in its 10th year) and beloved street fair games.  It’s sure to be fun for the whole family.

The feast will run for 10 days, so save the date!  You don’t want to miss the chance to attend this uniquely NYC tradition.
