I chose this topic because I feel like a lot of people are talking about the negative impacts of fast fashion and the alternatives. While shopping sustainably is the best choice, I’d like to write about some issues with small sustainable brands, as well as why fast fashion is so harmful to our environment.

I have never really thought about the negative impacts of fashion and how it can effect our environment. Its interesting to see there are so many alternatives to benefit the environment.
This is great! You should definitely explore this and maybe even tackle how the factories that make the clothing harm the environment, and maybe even the factory workers themselves and how they are poorly treated. Fast fashion is one of the worst things for our environment, and the consumers themselves are also contributors as well as the major corporations.
I think this topic is great in that you can expand so much about fast fashion. You can write about the environmental effects, child labor, unfair wages, people in poverty, and many other things.
This idea of fast shopping is a concept that blows my mind to this day even though most people have become so accustomed to it. The idea that stores are irrelevant and by going to your computer, you can order anything. This takes out the whole idea of small businesses and social buying. By becoming so trapped by this idea, we have subjected in store shopping to be obsolete. Fast shopping can also be extremely negative for the envirenment as it promotes mass production. This is a great topic going in a great direction.
Fast fashion is something you can approach in so many ways! I feel like now a days its impossible to avoid fast fashion and looking into alternatives which still keeps the poor working class’s needs in mind could be an interesting route to take.
Sustainable fashion is an interesting topic choice because I do not think people realize how important it is to reuse our clothing items. In your paper, you could discuss how to repurpose clothing rather than throwing it out. You can also mention that it is beneficial to shop at a thrift store rather than buying new clothing.
