[Online workshop] Where Do I Begin? Breaking down the research process

Whether you’re a grad or undergrad, an experienced student or returning to school after years away, you’ve likely faced a scenario when your professor has assigned a long research paper, asked you to find 6 to 8 credible sources, and left it at that. Where does one begin? What counts as “credible?” Can I use Wikipedia?

In this workshop, we will unpack the research process (what works and what doesn’t work), developing a list of practical strategies while exploring the manifold routes one can take to arrive at useful sources and a clear research focus.
