Our professional writing consultants are available to visit your class to lead students through a 15-minute informational class visit or 75-minute skill-focused workshop. Workshops and class visits are available both in-person and online.
15-minute class visits (in-person or online)
During a 15-minute class visit, a Writing Center consultant will visit your class to describe our services, show students how to navigate our online resources, and answer questions about the Writing Center.
75-minute in-class workshops (in-person or online)
During a 75-minute in-class workshop, a Writing Center consultant will lead students through one of our skill-focused workshops. These interactive workshops cover a range of writing, reading, research, interpretation, and analysis skills. Faculty members are invited to request up to two in-class workshops each semester.
Printed materials
In lieu of sending a consultant to visit your class, we can also provide printed copies of our materials (in case you’d like to lead a workshop or let students know about our services yourself).
