Students are much more likely to visit the Writing Center with direct encouragement from a faculty member, and we are grateful for your help in connecting students to our services!
You can refer students by:
- Walking them over to our offices on the 8th floor of the NVC (in room 8-185), where the front desk will be ready to help them register for our schedule and sign up for a session;
- Sharing our website, where they can sign up directly; or
- Completing the referral form below (after which we’ll reach out to your student to schedule an appointment).
During the session, the consultant will use any information you share to help the student set goals for their assignment and long-term writing development. At the end of each session, we can also send you a brief reflective record.
