Quotation Analysis

At the start of the project, I chose a quote that resonated with me and then looked at key words and chose pictures based off of those words. When trying to decide the placement of the pictures, I paid attention to whether or not the pictures followed a certain direction or not. I also experimented with font color and judged to see if it worked well the meaning of the picture and quote. At the end of this project, I learned that different pictures can affect the interpretation of the quote. In one page, I used Calvin and Hobbes with a Baskerville font for the quote, which I felt brought back memories of reading picture books. In another page, I used a background picture of a road that bled off the pages with the same font family. However, I felt that the second page gave off a more motivational feeling rather than a nostalgic one. Thus, I believe that using a picture can greatly emphasize/change the quote meaning that goes along with it.
