What made you join CPP?
As a first-year student at Baruch, I was struggling to find a community where I felt I belonged. My older brother’s friend told me about CPP, so I looked into the program and decided to join. I ended up having a great time as I learned more about different cultures and made lasting connections.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time, I like to cook, swim, explore New York City, and hang out with my friends.
What’s something quirky about you?
Something quirky about me is that I like to eat food burning hot.

What made you join CPP?
It all started during my freshman year when my peer mentor from my First-Year Seminar class introduced me to CPP. I was curious about the program and decided to apply. It turned out to be an amazing experience as I got to meet many new people from various backgrounds. In particular, I really enjoyed engaging with the CPP community during the social events, where we talked and learned about each other.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time, I always try to find something productive to do, whether it’s learning how to code in a new programming language or uploading videos to my YouTube channel.
What’s something quirky about you?
One quirky thing about me is that I talk to myself a lot, especially when I am making sure I have completed all the components of an assignment. It might seem like I need help, but it’s just something you’ll have to get used to!

What made you join CPP?

I initially joined CPP on a whim, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it and how it improved my communication skills. Now, I’m in to help others with bettering their own communication skills too while improving my own and to be a part of a supportive and encouraging community.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time, I like to play tennis, try out new recipes and maybe read a book for a few hours.

I love crocheting when I have free time! I enjoy hand-made work, and the product can also be great gifts for family and friends! I am also a big fan of reading, dancing, running, and cooking!

I joined CPP because, as someone whose first language was not English, I understand how valuable it is to have informal conversations to help build confidence in speaking. I wanted to be part of that support to help others improve their English-speaking skills while learning about other cultures and making new connections.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
During my spare time, I like to draw digitally and binge watch K-dramas/C-dramas. I also recently picked up on learning how to play the guitar.
