Baruch Conversation Partners Program

General Interest Meetings (GIM)

The General Interest Meeting(GIM) is mandatory for members before applying. The GIM will help you determine whether CPP is right for you! We think it will be but want to make sure you are aware of the program requirements.  Even if you were a past CPP member, attendance is mandatory if you would like to continue being a member.

As a CPP member, you are committing to meeting your partner six times this semester (meetups should be evenly spaced out throughout the semester) All members who wish to have proof of participation MUST fill out their timesheet in a timely manner (it must be submitted to CPP 48 hours after each meeting with your partner). Late time sheets aren’t accepted nor time sheets indicating 6 consecutive days of meet-ups or meet-ups all take place at the end of the semester. Falsely recorded time sheets will result in loss of proof of Attendance/Participation and a CPP Certificate.
