My revision feedback required a tweak in the introduction section. My introduction section had not stated the purpose of my easy nor had it defined a clear thesis statement. The revision comments guided me in developing a good introduction by exposing me to the elements of a good introduction. In addition to harnessing my knowledge in developing a good introduction, the comments also helped me restructure my thesis to ensure it tied all arguments presented in the discussion. My revision will take the same format as my draft. I am not conversant in making podcasts and videos. I thus fear changing the format will make my draft worse. Changing my introduction section will improve the readability of my essay since the introduction serves a critical role in preparing readers on what to expect from a text. The introduction section in my two essays needs restructuring. I will thus add information about the purpose and objective of my discussions. Additionally, I will restructure my thesis statement to ensure it summarizes the entire essay. Lastly, I will ensure I have provided the author’s background before quoting the author in-text citations. The revision will consume me about two hours for each paper.

A good writer is always determined to complete individual projects within the framework provided. Beating project deadline is not the only aspect defining a good writer. Resilience and endurance are also vital traits in a good writer. The most famous literary work took authors many years to compile and correct. Research Project Expectations
Upon realizing we would be doing a research project, I developed an anxious feeling because I had never been involved in a research project. I expected the process to present me with notable challenges. I was particularly concerned about where I would get the necessary information to complete my project. Irrespective of my feelings, I was excited that the project would equip me with the required skills to carry out my future writing project. As I came to understand later, my concerns about gathering relevant data to guide my project were the most challenging aspect of the research project. With the help of my friend and classmates, I got exposed to various online databases. The latter ideology made a vital contribution in improving my writing skills. Among the most vital research writing skills I gained through undertaking the project is how to incorporate MEAL writing strategy in my works. The latter strategy requires students to have a clear thesis, transition sentences, and a sentence connecting ideas discussed in the paragraph to the thesis statement. The skilled I gained by carrying out the research exposed me to project tackling skills. I thus feel I will be handling my future project without experiencing challenges like I did in my first project.

The provided thesis statement makes clear claims based on the evidence provided in the discussion. To some extent however, some paragraphs in the essay do not reveal direct connection to the thesis statement. The latter noted ideology is evident in the essays color distribution. Even though all paragraphs have a clear topic sentence, the last three paragraphs do not connect their arguments to the provided thesis statement. Irrespective of the latter short coming, facts presented in the last three paragraphs display an indirect connection to the presented thesis. The major problem in my essay arises from the presented thesis statement because it has limited the discussion to discuss how cheap availability of academic information had fueled plagiarism. Bearing in mind that the last three paragraphs do not connect with the thesis statement, the most effective way to improve my essay is to restrict the thesis statement. Instead of reading “cheap availability of information over the internet has played a vibrant role in advancing plagiarism,” the revised thesis statement should read, “cheap availability of academic information on the internet enhance plagiarism which in turn exposes students to adverse impacts, however, students can combat plagiarism through embracing different strategies.

After running the first search, more than 20,000 peer-reviewed articles were achieved. The achieved sources were evaluated using the CRAAP test, whereby each source was examined by considering its currency, relevance, accuracy and purpose. Following the scope of this discussion, one source “Levin, V. I. (2018). Plagiarism, its Essence and Measures to Prevent and Handle it. Vysshee obrazovanie v Rossii= Higher Education in Russia, 27(1), 143-150” will be examined. Levins article was included because it was the most current article addressing the issue in consideration. Even though other articles were composed in the last ten years, the information entailed in Levins was relevant and accurate. As the name title of the article reads, “plagiarism, its essence and measure to prevent and handle”, it addressed almost every aspect of the research question. The first few pages of the article provided details about the origin and definition of plagiarism. The remaining sections of the essay touched on various means that can be used to eradicate plagiarism. In addition to meeting the last inclusion criteria, the latter article contains verifiable data a fact that increases its accuracy. The author has cited other studies throughout the article.

The process of generating ideas in creative writing presents many students notable challenges. Some of the strategies students use to overcome the issue of generating writing ideas include listing, looping, nut shelling, clustering, and freewriting. I, in most cases, employ a listing strategy to generate ideas in creative writing. Before embracing this writing strategy, I relied on freewriting. Despite its applicability, freewriting is associated with a significant problem. In many cases, one ends up running short of content while writing. How do you use rhetoric in your daily life? What messages do you try to communicate? To what audiences?
Rhetoric is all around us. We always experience new things that influence our thoughts, opinions, and actions. In other words, rhetoric shapes our daily lives. Through our sad, happy, and life-changing experiences, we create rhetoric. Through telling personal stories, I attract other people’s attention in one way or another, in a manner that the audience may relate. In doing so, it is important to analyze the situation at hand to effectively create rhetoric. Communicating to my audience is an important aspect of my life. Through interacting with the people I relate with every day, I try to inform, inspire, encourage, entertain, share good values and others.
