Don Quixote is a very interesting character who is a big fan of adventures. He shows to have a strong connection with his imagination which makes him different from everyone else who live by the reality side of the world. Don Quixote is portrayed as one of a kind character which makes the reader want to keep wanting to know more and see what else to expect from the main character. I enjoyed this video because the speaker knew how to explain different things about Don Quixote. He is known to be a strong character and is described as a very courageous man. He doesn’t care what anyone says and lives his life the way he want to which is through his own reality. This reminds be when young kids have their imaginary friend and bring them everywhere they go. Kids tend to make up a another world with their imaginary characters even when playing with their toys. It soon becomes part of them and how far their imagination expands. This is why the speaker in the video says Don Quixote is like a 50 year old toddler. A very interesting point that the speaker in the video brings is that Don Quixote has a dark side which is to harm others. He tends to harm those who he thinks want to harm him when they don’t give any sign of harm. This is due how deep he is involved into his made up reality and convincing people things are the way he sees them. This was something that did not cross my mind when thinking of Don Quixote since I saw him as a creative individual. One of the points I strongly agree made about Don Quixote is that he is a man on a mission who overcomes any obstacle that comes his way just to get what he wants at the end.
