My writing before college was much more formal, but now I am writing more personally. I never used to write I,me,you, etc… but after this class I do it often. I feel my writing was much better in highschool as they forced me to do more and think harder. One thing I did learn from this class though is how to freely write from my thoughts and I think it’s great to know how to do that.
I really enjoyed writing about my favorite TV show, Community, because I learned so much more behind the scenes about the show. It helped open me p and realize the truth behind everything. While writing it I had to do a good amount of research trying to find the correct source that I was looking for. I gained a better understanding as to what goes on on a set and how much work is truly put into it. The camera work editing producing the scene everything take so much work.
It was really hard for me to write the literacy narrative because I had to write with my feelings. I do not usually show my feelings through writing and it was really hard for me to learn to do it. I dealt with the issue by procrastinating until I finally gave up and just wrote whatever was on my mind. I feel I am much better at this and will be able to do it quicker.
