Notice And Focus on One Piece

Notice And Focus on One Piece

Move 1:
The most interesting part about this manga is how it teaches us the belief of human beings. The manga primarily features two types of people: pirates and marines. The marines hunt down the pirates while the pirates run away from the marines. At first glance, one might assume the marines would be the good guys and the pirates would be the bad guys. However, the story is much more complicated and nuanced than that.

Move 2:
For example, while the pirates are known as criminals throughout the manga due to committing piracy, not every pirate is bad. Notable exceptions such as Shanks and Dragon, exists to prevent government corruption and tyranny. The main character, Monkey D. Luffy, travels all over the world to meet and save his friends from corrupt governments and evil pirates. The marines, while known by countries to be fair and impartial, commits war crimes and unethical human experiments.

Move 3:
One of the most common recurring themes is friendship. Despite the obstacles that Monkey D. Luffy goes through, he never betrays his friends. This helps earn the loyalty of his crew mates and helps him be able to fight against antagonists throughout the story.

Move 4:
In order to make his audience interested, he makes many of his One Piece characters comical. Although comical, they have very tragic and serious backstories that give them depth and importance throughout the story.

Move 5:
One of the most significant details is the One Piece. The One Piece is the end goal for Luffy as he wishes to achieve it in order to become the King Of Pirates. Throughout the story, the One Piece is symbolized as a dream that the pirates want to pursue. No one really knows what the One Piece is, yet strangely everyone wants to pursue it. The World Government, as one of the primary antagonists of the story, want to prevent the pirates from pursuing that dream in order to prevent everyone from having free will.
