Forced/Arranged Marriage

I chose to create a pamphlet to speak about forced marriages in India because It’s something people can read in less than five minutes and obtain a lot of knowledge from the topic. A pamphlet should be something simple and get right to the point. I didn’t want it to be overwhelming to read. Pamphlets are a way to spread awareness and inform society about the issues that are happening around the world. I also added to the pamphlet organizations helping these girls pursue their careers. This pamphlet hypothetically may work because people can take their time to read the pamphlet. Hopefully, they are moved and touched to scan the QR to donate something to help these girls have a better future and follow their dreams and goals.

Women’s bodily autonomy

I chose to create an informational pamphlet to spread awareness about women’s reproductive rights. I wanted to include statistics, anecdotes, arguments, and other types of information to help readers develop a deeper understanding of the issue. I think it would hypothetically work by spreading information and awakening the interest of the readers to make them start their own research and clarify common misinformation. This would lead to improved arguments and new ideas to help solve the issue of women being forced to carry unwanted pregnancies as a result of legal and moral barriers set on them.

A plan for an Event

I chose this campaign because universal health care is a complex topic that needs to be broken down into simple, relatable parts so people can understand and take action. Hosting this community event is a great way to engage people directly and build change. This event plan will get the community to be more engaged because it combines education, discussion, and action in one gathering, making it both impactful and accessible.

Baruch Club Meeting Announcement

By spreading awareness, encouraging community involvement, and inspiring action, a social media campaign can be a potent instrument to assist the pro-choice movement. The campaign can provide informative content about reproductive rights, and elevate underrepresented perspectives by utilizing social media sites like Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. In theory, a social-media campaign may be successful by encouraging followers to post infographics or personal stories and utilizing a consistent hashtag (such as #ChoiceIsPower) to establish an important message. The campaign can get mass support and have an actual influence by using compelling imagery, moving narratives, and calls to action like fundraising and club events.
