For centuries, coffee has been, in my opinion one of the most essential human necessities. The act of having a cup of coffee is one that can be seen around the globe in all sorts of communities & societies. Whether you consider yourself a coffee person or not, you cannot deny the evident societal norm that is the cup of coffee. Nowadays, you can always find a local or chain coffee shop in any neighborhood that is full of customers stopping by before work, going over to socialize with friends over a cup of coffee, doing assignments, or even just sitting down and destressing after a long day- it is truly a beautiful life ritual. As someone who was born into a heavy coffee drinking household and have been drinking coffee since about the age of 8, I consider myself a notable person to be sharing their coffee recipe. In my personal life, I have found that my day goes by so much better when I start it off with this specific coffee. It sets the tone for how the rest of day will go. On the occasion in which I am drinking this coffee as a what I call a late night treat, I end of my day on a sweeter note. In this recipe, I share with you all my favorite way to start off (and sometimes even end off) my day, my perfect coffee.
Whether you’re someone who enjoys their coffee on the sweeter side or enjoy the complex taste of sweetness and bitterness, this recipe is perfectly adaptable to everyones liking.
Ingredients
- Torani Vanilla Syrup (with the pump)
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup Torani Vanilla Syrup
- 1 cup 2% milk (or any nondairy milk alternative, I prefer oatmilk)
- Stok cold brew- unsweetend black & bold roast
- Ice
How to make the perfect cup of coffee
- In a storable pitcher, combine your measured out heavy whipping, followed by 1/2 cup of Torani vanilla syrup and finish off with your measured choice of milk. Using a spoon, make sure to give your ingredients a nice stir to distribute evenly. Once prepped, you now have a delicous vanilla sweet cream prepped and made for anytime you are making your coffee.
- In a cup, start off by adding your desired pumps of vanilla syrup. *Barista Note– For a sweeter coffee, add more and for a less sweet coffee add less. I personally enjoy my coffee with 3 pumps of vanilla syrup
- In your cup, add your desired amount of Stok cold brew (in my opinion the smoothest store bought cold brew). *Barista Note– For a sweeter, milkier coffee add less cold brew & for a much stronger coffee add more cold brew.
- Next add your ice. Add as much or as little ice as you please.
- Next, reach over and top off with your delicous vanilla sweet cream. Add as little as or much as your heart desires.
- Finally, take a sip and indulge in this delicous coffee that is going to set you off for an amazing (because a good coffee day=an amazing rest of your day).
I love the simplicity of your recipe, yet still an essential basic as Americans. I had coffee only once in my life when I was in Florida, around the age you started. I don’t remember the taste that much, any recommendations to order at coffee shops?
Great writing–clear and personable. Eight is pretty young to start… where. Careful not to overdo it!
