Alex T. Wong

My name is Alex Wong and I am currently a sophomore working towards a degree in Marketing Management. This image illustrates a foggy San Francisco night and a light trail of cars rushing across the Bay Bridge in a simple context. However, in a personal context, this image represents my love for traveling, photography, and the my first attempt at long exposure photography with my first camera. I consider photography an artistic expression that shares a story without the diction and rhetoric used in writing. But, I enjoy photography because of the thrill of working and editing to get a specific shot. Then in the end, I can look at it with pride and share the story behind the photo I personally took and edited.

  1. The picture is phenomenal, traveling was always a big thing for me and my family also. We would travel to Europe almost every year, Rome, Montenegro, Albania. Those are where we would travel to most of the time. Photography was a big thing for us too, It just something about that one perfect picture that makes it all worth it. Photography and traveling are just a perfect match for one another and you doing both is amazing. Good luck with all your studies and again that photo is amazing.

  2. Very cool, Alex. Nice work here with your photograph. I also liked how you connected it to rhetoric and writing–many connections there, for sure. You might be interested in doing your Rhetorical Analysis assignment on photography.
