Hello, My name is Daniel Ivezic, I am a 16 year old Freshman at Baruch college, I graduated High school a year a half early, I am majoring in CIS at the moment. I also love everything about computers, I am a techy kind of guy. I recently built my own computer. I am familiar with all the parts within a computer and I also like video games. It all started off as me being a gamer, I got my first console when I was 9, and since then gaming has been a thing of mine. Then because of gaming I got into computers, everything about them interests me hence my major. This photo represents me because its a gaming computer but its not only the fact that it can game, its the fact of building it, knowing the parts in it, and knowing software’s within the system itself.

  1. Congrats on graduating early! My brother also built his own computer. He named his WALL-E. Does yours have a name? Personally, I am not much of a gamer, but I love the Zelda and Mario franchises, Animal Crossing, and am currently trying to 100% Hollow Knight.

  2. You should talk to Eric, since he also talked about building his own computer! I want to do that at some point, maybe when the kids are older and I have more time. As you progress in your degree, think about how programming is a kind of writing. It might seem obvious, but maybe not. A lot of the way you can think about reading and writing can be applied to programming (e.g., audience) but sometimes you might have to think a little differently (e.g., who is the “audience”? how am I trying to influence people as much as procedures and programs?)

  3. Hello Daniel, I also graduated high school early, but I graduated as a junior. Growing up, I never really played any games but I’ve always wanted to build a pc as all my friends have one and I’d like to be able to join them one day. Being able to game with your friends is something I wish I could have done through my time in lockdown.
