Hello, my name is Daiki (pronounced Diekey), and I’m a Freshman. I chose to share a photo of my current skateboard deck from when it was new. I started skating near the beginning of quarantine and it’s become one of my favorite things to do since then, it aligns a lot with most of my other hobbies like exploring and has allowed me to grow as a person through the community. I really like the feeling of being able to just cruise throughout the city especially at night. I also like the whole diy aspect of it and being able to customize my board to my own style and comforts. If anyone is interested on what I ride right now: 8.25 Killing Floor deck, Independent 144s with 2 inch risers, Ricta Cloud 86a 57 mm wheels.

Very cool, Daiki. You should talk to Willy and others who commented on his post since he was talking about cycling in a similar way. Danny and Eric also talked about building their own computer, which reminded me of the way you talk about building your skate board here. One of the fun internet things I follow is how people don’t recognize Tony Hawk (e.g., they see “Anthony Hawk” on his license) but they do know who Tony Hawk is.
