1. Adoption: How does being in an open adoption affect the child’s emotional and mental state in forming a relationship between the adoptive parents and the blood parents?
Miguelina, I definitely think the question of open adoption is worth pursuing. In this case, I might make it even a tiny bit broader. I’m not sure how much information you will find (though I could certainly be surprised) that addresses the relationship between adoptive and biological parents. If you find plenty of information, that’s great, and you should stick with that focus if that’s the aspect of open adoption that you find most intriguing. If you don’t find a lot of information, I would expand your field to include the question of how having both adoptive and biological parents present in his/her life affects the child. Does that make sense?
