Tasnimud Tanzid (10/25/2021) Business Analysis

A business in my neighborhood is an ice cream van, which is basically a good business in summer. However, the business of selling ice cream is really good in al over the season most likely for children and even adults also have to love ice cream. So I have noticed two things about this business. One, it needs a. Van to attract the kids around the park. Secondly, it’s probably most crowded in the evening which is good profit.

Now according to the psychology major, I think when you create a business like this, you need to be thinking psychologically. You have to understand what’s time will be perfect for running a business. For example, the evening is best for the ice cream business since all the kids around the city have free time and that’s the time all the kids play and get out to enjoy. Another thing I have noticed is that you need have to get a proper place to cell the ice cream outside of after school, and park.  Then another is necessary for this business is to invoice an inventory of the materials. Like every day, the seller must need to report and record the inventory for making a financial report or making a balance sheet for his business. There he must need accounting skills like financial accounting. Again, every year the man should have to make the tax file using LIFO and FIFO which is a very important thing in Financial Accounting inventory.

The major I have selected, Psychology, Accounting and Finance

  1. I never thought about the psychological factors behind the business but I think you explained it really well. Psychology is really important when it comes to knowing how consumers think.

  2. It’s impressive that you were able to analyze this business through the psychology major. I would’ve never thought about an ice cream truck through the psychology major, but after reading your analysis, I see how someone could psychologically think about the aspects that benefit their business.

  3. I liked this post because I could relate to it. I wrote about a food item and used a psychology major as a lens. I think you did a great job analyzing this from a new point of view.

  4. I found your take on the psychology major sense extremely interesting because I’ve never thought that deeply about it. It made me realize that there are so many different aspects that goes into the planning on a business such as this.
