Someone who is a literacy sponsor to me is my grandfather. I can say he is who I get my grit from. He is one of the most inspiring people I know. He is also one of my biggest supporters and believed in me when nobody else didn’t. He plays a big role in who I am today and my work ethic. Because of him I believe to never give up and there’s always a way.
One moment that will always stick with me was a day we were talking about me and boxing. He was motivating me and telling me you have to have heart and fight while you in there. He was telling me it’s you or the other person. As a result from this conversation, it really helped me with my mental toughness and in times I needed motivation. I always think back to this and similar moments till this day.
You are definitely lucky to still have your grandfather around. They always provide the best support and advice
I think it’s fascinating that you chose to talk about a family member; it reminds me of the discussion we had in class about who we trust the most. I also chose a family member as my literacy sponsor, and just by this moment you shared, I can tell your grandfather cares about your success.
You do boxing? For how many years? Did you go out in Metro?
Love how your grandfather is one of your biggest supporters when it was needed most. It’s amazing how he was able to better your work ethic.

I think its so nice that you take pride in having a good relationship with your grandfather and actually talk to him about things that are important to you and get advice from him.
I can sense how strong your relationship with your grandfather is. He seems like a cool dude.
