Not too far away, just a couple of meters away, there is a surrounding black gate every which way. Protecting my building, from the outside evil. Yet, inside we have our own separate world. Greenery inside everywhere within this gate. Something I really appreciate. Various aspects within these not-so-tall walls, that I love to see every day. Within these borders, there is a quiet zone an area of peace. This zone contains a few benches, placed specifically to admire everything one’s eye may see. This zone gathers everyone from infant to elder, lures everyone in because of how pure it is.
Whenever you walk outside you see so much green. Trees, grass, and flowers, green is something you see every which way. Often, you see a new color, red for the cardinal, blue for jay, and brown for our little furry friends, sometimes they’re holding an acorn. Sometimes they’re in the birdbath. Even after all the color you see, you spot the black gate over yonder. As cold as the gate may be it has a purpose, to protect my little world from the big one outside that I hadn’t fully seen.
I added the segment about the quiet zone. I made this addition to try my best to complete the picture. Lastly, I wanted to prove that it wasn’t just me that viewed my neighborhood this way.
Eryk, yes, this was a great, illuminating addition! One direction that this analysis could take to go deeper is: you could describe a particular moment you’ve spent in the garden; you could name and describe some of the plants; you could describe in a little more detail the world just outside the gate to sharpen the contrast between the world outside and lush green within in the gate.
