The Trilogy of Just Different (College Life)
I think this picture is self explanitory; initially coming into college I knew it was going to be much different than High school, but the actual experience is far more distinguished from what I imagined. College is high school times 10 in every aspect. As far as responsibility goes like getting up for class on your own, handing in assignments on time with the requirements, and being responsible for your grades was new for me in a sense that I am now very much independent. So with the factors of living without parental guidance, which I was use to, and time management was indeed a challenge for me. Also, with being a student athlete fitting in time for work and basketball is hard. And as far as basketball goes its another story, words cant even explain how different it is from High school and what I’m accustomed to; If I went on into the basketball chapter I would exceed the five hundred word limit. So, my first semester was basically all adjustments which is what this picture is showing, a brain adjustment. I had to adjust to waking up on my own, managing my time, studying, having a healthy social life, adjusting to the higher level in terms of basketball. It was difficult but doable. I feel like I’m executing this adjustment process in the write way and I’m being patient with myself.

Monologue(Just different)
Knock knock
Who’s there?
A girl.
A girl who?
A girl whose passion is on the court
Whose life revolves around the game
A heart that’s round and orange
With every pulse it sounds like a dribble
A girl who cherishes family
Family values and family traditions
Whose inspiration is her Nana because
She took on the challenge of raising her
After raising her own
A girl who enjoys luxury and the high quality
Name brand this name brand that
But also appreciates the little things
And knows to take nothing for granted
A girl who’s humble, soft spoken but easy to like;
A girl with no exact blue print or destination but a good heart and good head on her shoulders.
A girl who believes in God but not in religion
How do you explain miracles?
Music gets her through those stressful days and tears through those hard times
But her best friend brings her through it all
A girl whose closet resembles Nike town;
And stomach resembles iHop and Halal
A girl who loves to go Kareeokeeing and drink apple juice
A girl who wants to create a get rich quick (who should of came up with silly bands) and dreams of going to the moon
Ice-skating would be fun too!
A girl named Domyae, whose motive is family, with a vivid imagination and acknowledges her imperfections; who lives life to the full extent and with no regrets
With the biggest smile and the most content feeling, I am happy to say I am this girl!

Here I am
The first slide represents me and the most important person in my life which is my nanna, without her I wouldn’t of made it where I am today; Which is here at Baruch, in college. The second slide is my family, I am a very family oriented person I believe family comes first, blood is thicker than water ! The third slide shows that I’m religious, I practice Christianity; I grew up in the church and I still go as often as I can. The fourth slide is a picture of my High School Basketball ‘family’ ; I say family because once your on a team you spend most of the day together and you have to learn each other and learn how to love each other, like a family. The fifth slide is a pic stitch of me and my role model in the NBA Rajon Rondo, he is also a point guard, and he is the best point guard in the NBA and that’s non-debatable. The Sixth slide are my best friends, I love them like family, we been through a lot and they are always there for me. I call them my right and left hand. Other than my passion for basketball, I LOVE sneakers, sort of a freak if you want to say. I prefer Nike and Jordan but I’ll wear new balance and Adidas on occasion. The eighth slide is a picture of food made by my nanna, I love food; I love it even more when its cooked by her. The last and final slide just shows my cooky side, I’m a very outgoing person at times, and I do have a personality, so when you see me don’t assume that I’m always serious because usually I always have a serious face on.
