Bored
When I started college I was really enthusiastic and excited to be here but day after day that excitement has dwindled. I wake up everyday and go to school knowing Im going to be bored and hoping something that day will keep me from keeling over in my desk. College went form a new adventure to a daily challenge not to drool or bang you head to hard on the desk when you dose off. Im hoping it will at least get less boring. I cant say Its all bad because there are those one or two days where I find a reason to stay awake and find something interesting to do. It might just be me but Im scared I might have to spend the next four years learning how cope with boredum rather than learning and becoming a well rounded person and all that junk i hear Im “supposed” to do.

Funny Ain’t It
I wake up, I get dressed, I do what I have to do.
I take the train, I’m always late, I really don’t care.
I probably should but I don’t so just be happy I’m here.
I sit in class and listen to clichés and can’t take them seriously.
I laugh a lot because it’s funny,
Not the jokes but me and you that we’re here doing this.
It’s just funny because we do it and don’t have a choice,
We think we do but we don’t and it’s just so funny.
There are so many other things we could do but I guess they can wait.
We don’t really have a choice so you know they’ll wait.
So I’ll do it and I’ll smile but when I do just know,
That when I laugh, I laugh at me and I laugh at you.

Calvin Abel
The first picture is about the Giants they are my favorite football team. Me and my whole family love them.
The second picture is about the yankees most of my family loves the mets but im a yankees fan till death and Derek Jeter’s my favorite player.
The the third and fourth pictue is a Brookyln logo and the Brooklyn bridge. I was born and raised and Brooklyn and have never been any place better. Its the greatest place on earth and has the best people you can find.
The fifth picture is a picture of the album ‘The Blueprint’ by Jay-Z. Its my all time favorite album and he is my favorite artist.
The sixth picture is of a football. Since I was a little kid I loved football I can watch it for days and would have played for the rest of my life if I could have.
The seventh picture is of a laughing smiley face to representsthe jovial side of me me. I can be very goofy at times because I feel humour is one of the best ways if not the best way to interact with other people.
The eighth picture is of picture is of a cartoon studying because aside the the laidback and goofy part of my personality I can be quite studious when im interested in something.
The nineth picture is of my dad, sister,cousin and myself and the tenth picture is of me and some of the seniors on my high school football team.
