So, there’s another one that I forgot about…if it even counts anymore, that is…haha

But the enrichment workshop was okay. The video was long and sort of boring but I generally agreed with everything he said. About love, doing good and being kind and all. The question time was very dry, however.

Sorry for the late post…I completely forgot about the blog post until now.

But yeah, first semester has been quite a challenge. I actually have no idea what I’m doing. No idea what I want to do, no idea how I’m going to get past the next 4 years. It’s not that I’m not passing classes, it’s that I don’t know if I want to go through college. I may take a semester or two off just to have some time to figure it out. Work full time, who knows?

But yeah, I actually have no idea what I’m doing.

I am Sam Jin and I was in group 3. Our group did our NY Times front page on the many hamburgers of Manhattan. We posted various synopses of different NY Times articles on 5 different burger joints around the city, and split the posts 2 each. We did burgers because burgers are great. They taste good, and can vary so much from place to place. Each restaurant has a different approach to how they cook and present their burgers, from the meat used to the very atmosphere and experience of the restaurant. We showed the different rivalries between some restaurants and put together our NY Times front page: Hamburger Heaven.

My  name is Sam Jin. I was born and raised in New Jersey and have come to New York for school. I am Korean-American and have a younger brother. I chose the songs I chose in the playlist I made because they’re a rough outline of what my music tastes look like. In a way, you could say that I just chose a bunch of artists that I like. However, I know for a fact that the music I’ve listened to has shaped me indefinitely. Music has been a big part of my life for all of my life, and I’ve always been playing an instrument since the age of four. So this playlist is just a glimpse into the many things that have inspired me, musically and lyrically.
