My first sem-experence at Baruch. Jim

Close-up of a woman eating a large piece of cake-871005

Before the first day of Baruch, I was very nervous because people around me were saying college is insane with a lot work. However, going through my first semester at Baruch, I am feeling that college is a piece of cake. So far I had no challenge. (I developed a new slogan that “College is like taking candy from a baby.”) Although there was a bit ache I had with very conservative-republican professor, I was able to scratch my back by simply dropping that course. This semester was a good opportunity to get used to Baruch system and get tastes of certain things. From the next semester, I am looking forward to be in classes that I am actually interested in and I am also hoping that I may get linear-democratic professors.

My reaction to the NYCares experience.

I volunteered at Senior meal serving center in Times Square. I was little bit late because I woke up late but the leaders were generous  that they forgave me and rather welcomed me and appreciated my presence. We served about 250 seniors who doesn’t usually have proper meals and most of them appreciated our good conduct. Throughout the project, I felt proud and good about myself because I was able to help others and contribute for the benefit of the society. However, I was very unpleased on some occasions. Some seniors complained when we were out of beef, some complained when we didn’t give them enough soup to intensify their appetite. Also I was unhappy with one of the chef because she was very biased. She did not allow me to touch the potatoes( I had my gloves on) and actually gave me a lecture about how important hygiene is in food serving. But herself, she touched those potatoes saying “my hands are special.” I felt really outrageous and assured myself not to re-sign for this project.

Many genres of music can describe me because i have various aspectives that people see. I love pop, rock especially the ones with hard beat. Also i love electronic music/house music maybe because i am a party animal?

Anyway, i am friendly and open to any kind of people althogh getting close at first is difficult due to my shyness, once i get really close the friendship never ends till death.

So i prefer people to talk to me first if they like to.
